Welcome to Cat in a Cauldron, a roving alchemy shoppe created by a teen maker as part of a school project, and now growing into something more. We’re here to fulfill all your sensory potion needs.

What we make

Our potions are sensory fidgets & aesthetic accessories. They're designed for play, storytelling, and regulation. Shake and watch the colours swirl. It's a simple, satisfying way to ground your body and calm your nervous system.

These potions are inspired by role playing games (RPGs), fantasy worlds, and video games. While their magic is imaginary, the calming effect is very real.

Choose the colour you’re drawn to. Fill it with your own intention.

These potions are for play and aesthetic purposes only! Please do not open, drink, or smash (no matter how tempting the storyline gets).

Potion Collection

Each potion has a different intention and comes with its own bit of lore (or make up your own):

  • Bottled Moonlight - Creates an orb of moonlight that will float and follow the shatterer. Works similarly to magelight.
  • Essence of Rosewood - Taken from the magical Rosewood forest, this captured magic will soothe anxiety.
  • Evergreen Potion - Helps your favourite plant live forever.
  • Love Potion - A black market potion. This does not cause natural love and is illegal in most realms. Check your morals before purchase.
  • Ocean of Stars - Piece of captured galaxy from a magical telescope.
  • Phoenix flame - Causes magical fireworks to form the image of a swooping phoenix - an essential for royal weddings.
  • Shape Changer - Eases the energy drain of a shapeshifter’s transformations. Non-shapeshifters will grow a temporary disguise.
  • Sleep Draught - Ensures a full night’s rest.
  • Storm in a Bottle - Summons catastrophe or an extreme distraction for an enemy.
  • Sunshine Potion - Simulates sunlight when shaken. Works in caves, cloud cover, and nighttime.
  • Potion of Stamina - User regains stamina to full.
  • Potion of Health - User regains health or fills their health bar
  • Potion Magica - Refills your magic when depleted

  • at select community events & workshops
